In the process of designing each kite, Lam specifically engineers them so that the axle, side-slide, cascade, flic-flac, back-spin, five-forty, half-axle, yo-yo, summersault, coin-toss, pancake and the olly are all easily within reach.

His kites can also do one of the most interesting tricks around, the corkscrew, which few other kites are able to do. Besides all the tricks and moves, they also perform great in precision.

Lam looks at designing each of his kites as a "master", with a great deal of power, passion and control... He feels deeply that you should be able to connect with your kite while it's flying, that it should move you, an extension of your soul.
